Schweiger Vineyards 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon

Wow. I just checked the vinyard’s website and it’s a $45 bottle on their online store.
I’m saying “wow” because I didn’t pay that much :P

We bought 6 bottles for $20 each (5 are for my husband’s friend who is currently in other state - he asked us to get them for him) at a wine shop called Cloverleaf.

We opened a bottle that night after dinner. It was a rich, balanced wine and we both liked it.

Although we probably should have waited - Schweiger website says it wll age for up to 20 years.

I hadn’t been drinking much wine for a while (summer & fall has been beer season for me!), it’s hard to describe what I taste. I hope starting to write down information on wine will help me become more knowledgeable wine drinker.
